Trash project Bologna

For the Booming Fair in Dumbo, Bologna, Cosima Montavoci, winner of the Call For Artists launched in 2019 by PLASTICAd'A-MARE, created a solo show on the first floor of DumBO where she presented works from the "Trash Project" series related to the cities of Venice and Dhaka, giving the public the opportunity to grasp the differences and similarities of these "human traces".

Above all, the artist created live a new part of the site-specific project 'Trash Project' dedicated to Bologna. From Friday 24 to Sunday 26 January 2020, she assembled the waste from the city. Visitors were invited to bring their own "waste" or the garbage they believe represents the best "Bolognese memory and human passage". On Sunday 26 January, the site specific work ended with a dedicated performance.
